I absolutely dont believe in conspiracy theories but what's happening to lewis is just insane! It seems like he brought his bad luck with him when he left mclaren...

Yeah , Hamilton is desperately in need of a new good luck charm.

Bummed hamilton's car went up in flames. I wanna see some more head to head battling between the two. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I want this championship settled on the track and not by mechanical gremlins. $#@!*& Kyvat failed me today  he was supposed to knock hulkenberg out of Q2 for me since Perez had that hydraulic failure on his car so he didn't get a second chance to make Q3 :P Super bummed for maldonado...more car failures for lotus and I think I heard the commentators say grosjean was having brake issues.

And LMFAO @ raikkonen's side of the garage :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: omfg with bianchi knocking him out BLAHAHAHAHAHA!! I think bianchi just did himself a huge favor LOL

Looks like you're gonna be right out of luck Geet. This championship most likely has been settled by luck and DNF's

Still got Double pts at Abu Dhabi, but with Lewis' luck. Something will probably go wrong for him there too, he has had such a bad run on Saturday's its almost hard to believe.

We will see...remember, rosberg had 3 DNF's to hamilton's 1 DNF last year, there's nothing saying that things won't follow similar lines in the second half of the season. But if they don't, I'll send you some Tucks for your chapped bottom

Don't forget half of his bad saturdays are his own fault, i.e. monaco, britain, and austria. Monaco wasn't "bad" per se since he still got 2nd, but he went and made it bad for himself by getting himself all wound up over a simple mistake by rosberg. Typical of him, with his heart on his sleeve and all.

Hamilton's season is starting to look almost 2012 like. Dodgy pit stops, car issues, poor luck, Paddy Lowe etc etc.

I'll agree with you on the bad luck and car issues. The "dodgy pit stops" might be a bit much tho...we're talking about pit stops that occasionally have been 0.5 to 1 second slower than nico's, not total blunders costing him 4-5 seconds on a regular basis like at mclaren 2012

Merc getting loads of hate on Twitter.

Also this image pretty sums this up...

You can see the disappointment, If I was driving for Merc and that was happening to me while my team mate goes on getting pole after pole, would be throwing my steering wheel as far as i can, then once i hop out i would throw my helmet on that big Mercedes Benz badge on that engine cover.

I think its fair to say I wouldn't be the greatest role model for the young people :hehe:

Monaco wasn't his fault or anything.

Austria wasn't a bad mistake the only mistake he did was losing the back end running him wide and getting the lap removed, the spin wasn't his fault at all Paddy and Toto both confirmed that it was a serious of unfortunate circumstances that was out of his control.

Britain wasn't a huge mistake, a minor judgement call with pretty big consequences however he still would have finished first he pitted at the right time for the right tyre and even if he was on the same tires he would have still finished second.

Monaco was his fault in the context of A) he didn't set a good enough lap on his first time out and didn't give it another go before the last minute, and B) he went and QQ'd all over the place and just made himself all wound up when he should have just brushed it off like nico can. He didn't make any mistakes while driving but he made a mistake by not setting a better bank lap and then getting himself all hot and bothered.

Pulling over and letting five other drivers beat your time is a pretty $#@!*& decent sized mistake. And I was discussing bad saturdays, not sundays, so his result doesn't matter in the context of this discussion.

And I have NO IDEA how him spinning and not setting a time isn't a mistake. As discussed previously (maybe in the german gp thread) he didn't walk the track, so he didn't know about the bump or whatever, so, idk what fantasy world anybody lives in who could say that wasn't HIS mistake.

But hey man, whatever you gotta tell yourself so you can sleep at night bro
