I think ultimately this might be wishful thinking on the part of Lotus. I recall reading something a bit back about PDVSA being overruled by the Venezuelan sporting minister saying that they didn't want the company to spend one more dollar in F1? We'll see but at some point between the year Maldonado is having and the year Lotus is having, the 45 million they're paying would be better spent on hookers and blow.
