I saw Lewis Crash. :( and I saw Rosberg leave the track with all wheels but not get penalised. Apparently this weekend they've decided to be lenient...only with F1 though, all the other categories get penalised.
More after my shower, I'm filthy.

Half the grid would have to be penalized for it because I saw loads of guys doing it. I'm not saying it's ok, I'm just saying don't single out rosberg when a dozen other guys were doing the same thing please.

It sucks hamilton had another mechanical failure. I WAS GOING TO ENJOY WATCHING HAMILTON GET BEAT BY ROSBERG ON GERMAN TURF FAIR AND SQUARE.

I think it was classy that Rosberg said in the post quali press conference that he was a little less happy that he and hamilton didn't get to fight for it head to head.

Regarding the race, I feel like hamilton is going to take himself out of this one. If he doesn't, then I don't give a $#@! that the force indias qualified at the bottom of the top 10, they will be hard to pass. Hulkenberg and perez have epic race pace, and getting by magnussen, kyvat, and the williams cars will be no simple task. It's going to be an interesting one. I can see hamilton in the top 10 by the end of lap one but he's going to have to fight more after than more than just rely on the dominance of the mercedes car.

It will also be interesting to see if the williams cars put up a good fight like in austria but with better strategies. This one could be epic :twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:

You know what Geet, half the grid were penalised in Austria, including Lewis who lost his pole time, but today as you say, half the grid get away with it and Rosberg keeps the pole time

Rosberg can afford to be classy when his team mate has just handed him pole. Lewis was 'classy' at Silverstone when Rosberg went out saying similar things. You really think they're unhappy about the misfortunes of their team mate? Get real!

Mag was awesome! Repeatedly, not just a one off. Hope he carries it through. And the Williams again look good, would love them, particularly Massa, to do well.
Oh, and yes, Perez! One lap stunner! Are you seeing this Martin Whitmarsh! Need to go and think about my pool picks now. Very hard!

Everybody who went off track today got away with it so idk what you're  about because it wasn't an isolated incident. Hamilton got away with it today to just like everyone else. Not Rosberg's fault that hamilton's car failed.

Hamilton didn't hand him anything. Rosberg was going to get pole whether or not hamilton made it to Q3 so nothing was handed to anybody. Plus bottas was only two tenths behind rosberg's pole time so Rosberg wasn't handed anything.

SCHIDER...I have to miss the race due to a freaking christening...URGH WHY...This is not acceptable at all :(

Welcome to my world, where Life regularly intrudes on my plans!
Today's will be yet another Qualifying missed because of it! :banghead:
Luckily, so far, it's not been messing up my plans for race days!!

Only Kimi's managed that so far.

Yup... he has messed up my pool picks; but, he's forgiven!!

If it is a straight fight tomorrow and Lewis beats Nico then Nico does not deserve to have a chance to win the championship.

Sent using NCC-1701

If that happened it would be Nico going back to his old self, the one that went missing during every other race. Its a lot of pressure to have a nothing to lose Lewis doing one of his trademark field carve ups. He has the car and will use the performance a lot more than Nico at the front. If he has a great start and/or Nico is held up then he could put the bejezuz up Nico on track, otherwise its gonna have to be a safety car and some clever pitlane start + tyre stop

On the other hand if any one can make plan B's work its Lewis. I would want to adapt the car closer to the race and start in the pitlane and then maybe start on primes, get rid asap and spend the rest of the race on options maybe stopping an extra time if no SC

This is exciting anticipation of ""motorracing"" - this is alomst like how much fun it was when you just started getting into F1. Its truly beyond me how some are still peddling the "Luca stance"

2 of the fastest guys in the best machine head to head? but it sounds bad?

Just a small correction - Hamilton's off in Austria cost him a second and put him P4, but because they were deleting times irregardless of reason it was removed (which was harsh).

Also in Austria the stewards believed going wide led to advantages being gained, same as Silverstone. Here for some reason they dont think going wide leads to drivers gaining an advantage, therefore they arent enforcing it.

He's right Lew. The stands were half empty even for quali.
They should stop doing tricks and get back to cars that let drivers make a difference. That's what people want to see.

But why was there such a difference between places like Austria and Silverstone, with great crowds even on Friday, and then Hockenheim, with just tumble-weed blowing around?
