Vettel's biggest problem with the car is Daniel Ricciardo. The first and potentially only win going to the other side of the garage will be difficult to rationalize for him. Red Bull is looking to be the team that will pick up the table scraps left by Mercedes, Vettel needs to be the one picking up those scraps.

No excuses.

Credit to RB though, for not putting all their resources and engineers hoarding over Ricciardo's data for the next 2 weeks to see why Vettel was not there to take the win instead of Ricciardo. :hehe:

How do you know they're not?

Could be that Seb is not as disturbingly good looking as <edited WB>

Big Daddy Marko went public saying his Golden Boy needs to pull his socks up.

In contrast, at McLaren we had Giggling Gaffer telling all the McLaren engineers it's their fault that 1 driver got lapped by another driver in the same machinery. :hehe:

I would be embarrassed if I was a 4 time world champion, getting my arse handed to me every other weekend by my comparatively rookie team mate

He is very good, but he is really not spectacular, gets rattled, and is not some strategic or setup or technical genius. He is very good but so are a few guys on that grid like Bottas, Ricc, Lewis, Alonso

That's the most frustrating thing for me. Out of the car I like him more and more, he's certainly the most entertaining personality, very dry, esp since he's lost that childish streak, but once he slips into that cockpit... I just can't be happy for his success in the slightest.

I like his attitude so far this season, he knows he's behind and being outperformed but is quietly chipping away at it. Maybe he's realized he's not the DemiGod which he felt he was the past 3 years or so, though he's not overdriving and screwing up results....he has been unlucky and gotten 2nd rate strategies.

And I appreciate any driver who goes for a do or die manouver when they get pissed off...and Vettel's Silverstone move on Alonso was appreciated.
