It is a shame. But you certainly wouldn't expect by chance that someone from the forum would be sitting right near you.

Oh cool. So you were the grandstand opposite where I was (Club Silverstone @ Becketts) then! Are you able to see over the fence to the Becketts section as we can see the Village/Loop/Aintree section from Becketts?

You can see the tops of the cars but the view across isn't as good as from Beckets over to the loop. We watched quali from Becketts.

not really: who knows what the lap times were for SV around lap 26? So, you need to provide more info.

As requested Sebastian Vettel's lap 26 was a 1:40.177, his lap 27 was a 1:39.823.

He pitted on lap 13 and his lap straight after pitting was a 1:39.530 (first flying lap, not including outlap) which was his fastest lap up until lap 17 when he managed a 1:39.351 which stayed his fastest lap up until lap 34 when he did a 1:39.340 and this then stayed his fastest until after his second pitstop and that was a 1:38.825 (lap 36), he improved to a 1:38.702 on lap 40
