Geetface, your spamming has prevented me from getting a comment on the first page of the thread! Shocking! :nono:

Anyway, back on topic, always a big fan of Hockenheim, and I still believe it is a great circuit, even after being shaved down. Plenty of opportunity for overtaking here, so if Nico and Lewis end up close together on-track, it should be pretty epic. Hopefully, mechanical issues don't come into play this time!

I prefer Hockenheim over Nurburgring personally.

I think I do too, although both have produced some excellent and memorable races. The first corner at Hockenheim is one of my favourites!

Hockenheim favours cars with similar traits to ones that do well at Silverstone. So I expect a Williams/Ferrari/red bull/Alonso battle for best of the not Mercedes race in two weeks. Can't wait!

Williams were out of reach for Ferrari and Red Bull today, just like last week they are teh second best car. I said at the start of the year that they were the second best but their first 6 races were horrendous. Williams threw away so many points in the first few races :(

Mercedes should have an advantage although not as big as Silverstone, with McLaren struggling more in the stadium section, Williams should do well with Bottas. This is a tight circuit so I think Massa will find grief somewhere as usual.

Really past time Lewis got back to starting from pole, I think he's got just the tonic to set that right in Hockenheim. :)

I wonder if Mercedes will change Lewis' gearbox as a precaution, even if they have a to take a five place grid drop given Nico's woes at Silverstone?

I know Mercedes will probably win; but I'd love to see Williams win the race with Bottas; he got a third is Austria, second in Great Britain, first in Germany? *fingers crossed*

I'm going to Hokenheim :D:D:D . Want to see Lewis beat Nico on his own turf like he did last year. ( though Nico tends to claim Monaco as a home race and Silverstone because Merc are just down the road) So pleased, the points gap is down. One DNF to Nico, two to Lewis and only four points in it.
I realise as this battle intensifies that much as I like Mercedes I am so much more a driver supporter.
Sort the pitstops Merc!!!!!

Mercedes to win by 2 minutes, correction make that 2 days, :hehe: they looked to have made more ground on there rivals at Silverstone, although Williams did Qualified badly, Williams to be a close 2nd best at Hockenheim I think. Hopefully we get a Lewis v Nico battle all the way through that GP.

If Rosberg had still been racing till the end the lap times indicated that they would have been anywhere from 80 to 100 seconds up the road from the next car which considering the lap is only 1:38 average (through the race) then they would have overtaken every single car, the only car that they might not have over taken was Bottas but I'm pretty sure they could have.
