What is it with Ferrari and Kimi that just does not mix well! I suppose it is like ex's. Ex's are ex's for a reason

It didn't mix too well first time round either, he got the wdc but still he never really seemed to fit with the team. Maybe its the expecting him to speak in Italian thing, never mind speak at all.

I'm sorry, but is it so hard to figure out? Ferrari is all HOT HOT HOT, TIGER BEAT PASSIONNNN, THE BRAND which some people practically WORSHIP, almost a TEMPLE in Italy (or is it?).

And you put a guy resembling a zombie in that team and expect great chemistry?

good point. That's probably why I never lauded the guy. I think it's funny what he says sometimes and watching some of his interviews, but when he's on the podium and seems like he doesn't give a $#@! to be there I don't really see the point in that.

When you look at Kimis last year at Ferrari and his time at Lotus and now again at Ferrari, Kimi hasnt changed, Montezemolo confirms his lack of common sense by saying he brought Kimi back because the Lotus period showed Kimi had changed (after more than 10 years in F1)
As someone once said 'madness is doing exactly the same thing again and expecting different results'

Are we saying that Ferrari will bring Vettel in next year to replace Kimi and send him off with another paid up contract not to drive in 2015?

"WE" can say whatever "we" like, in the end, we don't pay their salaries;
but, maybe we should let someone who does have their say:

Ferrari team boss Marco Mattiacci says that, Ferrari will keep their existing driver line-up of Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen for 2015 Formula 1.

Mattiacci described Alonso and Raikkonen as “by far the best drivers in F1″ and “a fantastic combination”.

“I have a fantastic couple of drivers and I am very confident they will be with us next year.” Mattiacci told BBC

“Everybody wants to win more championships and particularly Ferrari. Both Fernando and Kimi are very demanding and I understand their frustration.

“All the team are not satisfied with where we are. We need to give a better car, performing and competitive. He added

“At the same time their contribution is very much needed. They can make the team more united so they have a big responsibility and they understand that. There is a very good team spirit.”

Alonso is contracted to Ferrari until the end of 2016, and Raikkonen has a two-year deal until the end of 2015 with an opportunity on his side to extend it to 2016.

I think they'd be more prudent with their money, perhaps not make the same mistake twice or at least not expect a different result when you decide to remarry your ex. In any case, good for Kimi, I wish I could get a paid year off, or two.

Possibly; but, then again, people make mistakes, such as letting Kimi go.
Some even learn from their mistakes and are able to put things right, such as rehiring Kimi.
And, it's a relative few that realize they need to work at relationships, such as having faith in Kimi!

Luckily, Ferrari recognize that saying "never" is fruitless!
