Even without Rosberg's gearbox failing Lewis was taking time out of him anyway. 3 seconds in the first stint whilst going 6 laps further and was flying until Nico lost over 2 seconds when the gearbox started to fail before it failed completely.

Lewis has a chance to really deal a big psychological blow in the next race....if he gets pole (a big IF) in Germany, and wins it. Retains WDC lead and beats Nico on Nico's home ground, that's as big a chance as anything.
