I'd love this to end in fisty cuffs. Old-school team mate style.

I would love to see it but I would put money on it not happening

If they have a proper coming-together on-track, that'll probably be the closest we'll get.

Nearest thing to a fight was Jarno Trulli & Adrian Sutil back at Interlagos in 2009... it was a heated dispute (which spilt over into the next event's press conference), but no punches ended up being thrown :hehe:

With Hamilton and Rosberg so close in so many ways, it's going to be the little things that count.
Here's one example of that:

, Andrew Benson wrote:">Lewis Hamilton sixth as Nico Rosberg takes British GP pole

...Rosberg said: "We came to a general conclusion to just go out and have a look, because if you don't go out you don't have a chance.

"I never thought it would be quicker. What made it was the last sector because the rest of the lap was slower, but I knew I had a chance to go quicker because I had lost three or four seconds [there] on the previous lap so I knew I could go quicker if it was drier."...

Great win Lewis.
Brilliant day.

So, Lewis has had 2 DNF's v Rosberg's 1.........and Lewis is 4 points behind Rosberg. :D

Lewis is the man to bring home the drivers championship imo.

Plenty of tracks left to run that suit Lewis.

Roth is still analyzing the lap times formulating a hypothesis as to how Rosberg would have clearly won this one without his unfortunate end to a gear box.

The truth is ladies and gentlemen, when you've got a car that is assured of a 1-2 finish barring a DNF every race, it's going to be very tough to make headway against your team mate UNLESS there's a DNF, so Rosberg has the lead on Saturday finishes and Hamilton the lead on Sunday when they hand out the points. Without the DNFs it would have been Rosberg 29 points in arrears after today. No head games, no tomfoolery, just not finishing a race and putting the car where it would have finished, 1st or 2nd place consistently.

It's the mid way of the season, still lots of racing to go.

The little things, like not finishing a race.

I'm sure Rosberg would agree with you... today!! :P

I nearly wet myself with laughter :P

There was no chance Rosberg could of won that race, Hamiltons pitstop was a game changer in the whole race but even then from the outset Hamilton was set to catch him up it would of been a fight to the end if they had stuck with the same strategies.

I'm not trying to take anything away from hamilton. I don't see any indication of rosberg having "no chance" to win. He was suffering with gearbox issues since lap 20. It's a bit unfair to say rosberg didn't have a chance when he had every chance. We saw hamilton last race finish second even though he was storming at the end, so that's evidence that there was no guarantee
