Let's go through this s.l.o.w.l.y:

After a number of negative comments about Kimi at Goodwood based on something someone said (a.k.a. a rumour) on Twitter, of all "important" places, "evidence" to the contrary was posted, in support of Kimi:

Maybe after... he took a sheet. I hate it when through social media molehills are made into mountains.

n.b. A Ferrari fan making light of the negative comments previously posted about Kimi and his penchant for having a good time.

To which a dated and gratuitously negative picture is posted of Kimi in his support thread:

To which another dated and gratuitously negative picture is posted of Kimi again, in his support thread:

Yep...and Kimi knows it.

After further banter back and forth, which wasn't supportive of Kimi; but, which is "normal" with anything and/or anyone associated with Ferrari, I decided it wasn't worth the effort of being subtle:

So, what is posted in response? Yet another dated and gratuitous (not so subtle) pot shot, this time at Ferrari:

Damn straight this is a Kimi thread. So here's a most recent pic of Kimi feeling awesome.

In response, I posted a favourite (albeit dated) and positive picture of Kimi at Ferrari, which IS more in keeping with the FACT that he is driving for Ferrari and the FACT that he was successful once, and probably will be again (n.b. I did NOT suggest he was going to win the WDC).

That is, it was a supportive post in Kimi's support thread:

I guess saying it was a favourite of mine wasn't enough or it was just too subtle. I should probably have stated that it was a favourite of mine of when Kimi was at Ferrari and became WDC, so that I wouldn't have had my own words thrown back at me, even if it was a feeble attempt:

Unfortunately, saying it was a favourite wasn't clear enough possibly because I didn't also say that it was a positive picture to bring the thread back to being supportive, I responded:

"Favourites" don't have a best-by date!!

My apologies for not following suit and coming on stronger, like a ton of bricks/words. That could possibly have avoided the misunderstanding as to my intent, which was to keep this thread supportive of one of my favourite drivers! After all, this is becoming yet another of the circular "discussions" which become so annoying, so quickly. Something which I will go back to avoid doing, at the risk of it seeming I have nothing more to add!!

Just to be perfectly clear:

I didn't change the rules. I posted a favourite picture of a favourite driver at a favourite moment in his career with my favourite team in his support thread.

No I meant certain members make up the rules as they go along to suit whatever their decided viewpoint is in that one given moment. Regardless of whether it contradicts anything they have previously said. Even if that was only 3 posts back.
