- 01 Jul 14, 13:38#406328I am still severely ticked off that Mclaren didnt pair up Kimi and Lewis, instead of going for the cut price double diffuser guy, they would have been a killer combo, had Ron still been in charge. I cant help thinking we have seen the passing of the Kimster. Having said that if instead of Ferrari he was at Williams perhaps we could have seen the old Kimi expand on what he did at Lotus
SAY IT! I was telling everyone McLaren were about to kill the rest since I thought it was pretty much a done deal.....and then came the terrible news of "not matching pay expectations"....and they went for whatshisface. Probably a key moment which started the internal breakdown, like a cancer which travels through teams breaking them down slowly but surely.
And then. They made him the third highest paid driver on the grid!
