Confidence or not, even vettel used to go out on a second run when he had pole position already just to make sure. It's just smart qualifying, like setting the fastest lap on the first go in monaco

Knowing your team mate will wait till the last run so you can't copy his data then blocking his run. That's one way of doing things I guess.

It is. obviously not the smart way in monaco.

Nico is the smart one, not the talented one.

That's not to say nico isn't talented and hamilton isn't smart

I think Mercedes have a good driver pairing.

Still a long season. Hamilton's performance tomorrow will be setting us for the next few races I think. May return some hope tomorrow.

I'm the same. But there's also a miniscule chance that Nico won't finish in Austria and Hamilton will win and be ahead in the championship again, instead of ridiculously behind. Which is a really unhealthy thought process. I sound like a Vettel fan.

It's a fair point isn't it? If all Russian people are a stereotype of the stereotype of their leader, can't we say the same thing about Brits?

We can all post political images and pretend we don't give a damn about world politics, but there's an important difference here - Russian people actually care about what's happening in Ukraine, and your people do not. They have families there, and you only have an interest in money and waging war to keep your economy going.

Sure, you don't care about politics. I can tell that by how you act just like your leaders do - by lying and having hidden intentions.

So fine, Russia is the bad guy for taking back their own territory without firing a shot. I'd rather be accused of that than being the shitheads who stab their friends in the back, support cannibal suicidebombers, and bomb civilians from the safety of a screen.

Learn to show some respect, then you wouldn't have someone telling you off and having to act like you don't care.

Hey I just posted a few pics of Putin making funny faces, it got locked thanks to the 'person' I was responding to. He's now acting like he knows who my 'leaders' are. I realized my mistake though.

Anyway, I had a dream last night Rosberg didn't finish the race....and Hamilton drove crap and still ended up 3rd. What a pr!ck I am.

Any chance of rain do you think? I look forward to Lewis wading his way through the field in heavy rain and taking a sick awesome victory leaving everyone else in the spray Silverstone 2008/Putin style.

Let's not forget Lewis is the one in midfield, all heading into T1. I just want that car to come out of Turn 1 fully intact.

I don't mind Rosberg finishing strongly....but I'd like Lewis to get a little bit of fortune (maybe an SC at a latter stage) and be in a position to challenge Nico head on.
