I talked in some other thread about the 'english' effect on sportspersons, where the very nature of the nationality is doomed to failure. It's fully kicked in for Hamilton.

Sounds interesting, would like to read it if anyone knows where the thread is.
Hopefully Hamilton can overcome it.

Hopefully.

Also it was mentioned earlier in the thread about Alonso/Raikkonen. I think Alonso is just driving extremely well for a slow car. He said that in practise the two cars were set up completely different for front and rear tyres to see which would be the best setup. So they are working together to get the car sorted.

Great result for Massa!! :clap::clap::clap:

I never head you say that before. :hehe:

He's not been on pole, unless you count the beans he picks in his garden?

:hehe: If we're going to compare beans in the garden, then Kimi I'm sure would have something to say about that. He's quite the green thumb.

Yup... his gardening leaving had him running to the bank!!

I can not believe Hamilton span on purpose to bulk Nico's lap! /jk

Of course he didn't, Nico's obviously just flapping his gums to make himself feel better about what he did in Monaco.

:hehe:

The title of the article seems a bit inflammatory. Not sure how anybody could construe rosberg pointing fingers at lewis in an accusatory manner when all he said was,
"I lost out on that last lap with Lewis spinning in front of the corner so I couldn't do that lap." (http://www.planetf1.com/driver/3213/935 ... ton-s-spin)
I'm not seeing any insinuations about him doing it on purpose, just a fact of the matter.

Not saying he was insinuating anything but sounds like he was having a dig at lewis, I think he said more in the press conference about it than he did in that interview though.

WOW what a session!! Bummed rosberg didn't get pole position but definitely happy for williams' progress!! I'm guessing hamilton had a brake issue? Not sure. Unless he is just faltering mentally, which wouldn't surprise me either.

would it be bad if I suspect a first corner crash from the two williams

Pressure is not Hamilton's friend.

He finally had a chance today to put in a good first lap in q3 and flip the pressure to Rosberg but messed it up.

Excellent result for Williams today.

Indeed anexcellent result for Williams. And Lewis did make an error yesterday. But he's been error free until then, whilst Rosberg has made many errors. So no big problems with pressure. Also he's one of the only drivers who haven't driven this track before. Not an excuse for him being slightly less than perfect, just a fact to consider.

Did you just say one of the only drivers who hasn't driven here before?

Edit forgot the rest of the post: the only people who have raced is Button, Alo, Kimi, kyvat and Erricson. That's 5/22, I don't think Hamilton or Rosberg are in the minority here....

Yes. Not the only one. But most have driven in other categories here Lewis hasn't.
