Did Nico just blame Lewis for ruining his Q run? It's going to be an interesting race tomorrow. Not the result Red Bull was hoping for but tomorrow is race day. At least the junior team represented.

Not sure he blamed Lewis but of course it did ruin his last run as he had to back off by 0.2, which on this track and with the Williams' performance is a lot to make up. Bit of bad luck for Nico but that's racing. Was interesting though to see Massa's lap wasn't perfect, from Sky's analysis I reckon he could have found another couple of tenths somewhere, showing that Williams have the raw pace around this track. Whether they have the race pace is another matter, as their tyre wear in FP2 was a lot worse than Mercedes and the Ferrari of Alonso, who's race pace was also impressive.

Has Mercedes overtaken a car this year?

Yes. Rosberg had to pass quite a few in China after his terrible start.

If that was a driver mistake, it's the worst choke I've seen from Lewis in his F1 career.

Ham, I pray this isn't the unraveling of Lewis. He's much stronger and better than what he showed this weekend.

Post Quali interview...Lewis said he didn't know what went wrong with the car....He would have said, if it was his fault..
Meanwhile Nico tries to regain his halo...http://www.planetf1.com/driver/3213/935 ... ton-s-spin

I thought it was strange...before the Monaco shenanigans....when Lewis had 4 poles, & 4 wins...& had clawed back the points from his DNF...that Paddy Lowe said in an interview, that he could see the WDC going down to the wire....
It seemed strange that he could say that...when LH was soooo dominant....

I can not believe Hamilton span on purpose to bulk Nico's lap! /jk

Of course he didn't, Nico's obviously just flapping his gums to make himself feel better about what he did in Monaco.

Good to see Charlie Whiting finally clamp down on cars going wide on corners and gaining advantages. He has apparently ruled that anyone who goes 4 wheels off the track at the exit of Turn 8 (2nd to last corner) will have that lap deleted - advantage or no advantage.

It is indeed. It's a shame he wasn't so insistent on it last race.
