Here is an interesting shot of the Ferrari without bargeboards and all the wingy things. Looks sleek I think. Why would they be testing in this config?



Also anyone know what the black thing in on the scoop is ?

I beleive its because they want to test with the 2009 aerdymanic regulations, hece why there are no wingy things... could be wrong though

looks like it works like a ram jet, that would have higher pressure over the nose cone compared to the usual flow pushing more air onto the rear wing, nifty and simple innovation, dont think it will be too long before all the teams catch on

only thing is did Ferrari have to reset the crash test for this? as its right infront of the safety cell

What do you mean by 'reset'? I've read they just passed the crash test with the new holy nose

i found out by the article Mike posted in the "oh not again" thread that they did have to reset the crash test, so it answered my question for me
