This is indeed great news for fans. I'm very happy for the Schumacher family. For the first time I think we can feel cautious optimism about his recovery.

Good news, though I can't help but wonder what kind of mental state he is in (i.e. is he a 'vegetable' so to speak) as they conspicuously left that out? I can say I think I'd rather just go on than to be a vegetable

On top of him being out of a coma, I'm sure his family is more than happy to have him closer to home!
I can't imagine what his wife and children have been going through, these past few months!
