Shot of the Day (in my opinion):

Love that picture! Show that a "brotherhood" exists between drivers/teammates, and that,
in the heat of something as special as a first win, transcends all sense of competition!

Yes...because they are fighting for bugger all this season. If these two drivers were in the Mercedes drivers' position, and Ricciardo won, you think we'll get this same pic?

Vettel has countless wins and WDCs compared to Ricciardo, a nice PR hug/lift up can't do anyone any harm.

Wasn't Seb questioning the team strategy that had him behind Ricciardo? Man did Hamilton take heat for that in Monaco. Apparently fans are as consistent as FiA race stewards. :hehe:

That was a great show of brotherhood last year at Red Bull. Maybe Seb is an entirely different person now.

I heard that the stewards are as subjective in dealing with drivers as the fans

You're probably right, it would probably look more like this :( :

Regardless, I'm verrry happy for Ricciardo that it didn't!!
Only Vettel can appreciate how hard it's been this year!!

No it wouldn't because Lewis is holding a second place trophy. But the media thankfully doesn't give Vettel a hard time with these things.

Could that be because Vettel has proven himself four times, already?
Because his entrance into F1 wasn't surrounded by the same type of
promise/publicity that Hamilton's was?

((Those questions are food for thought and not intended to be anything else!!))

No of course they are not.

You really, really, really, need Ferrari to win a race. You're starting to talk to yourself asking question you don't actually want answered and I fear the symptoms will get worse before the win comes.

Well, aren't you the clever one thinking I'm being rhetorical and even psycho-analyzing me!
Please, fear not for my mental health, as it's not mine that's on a roller-coaster, this year! :D

He hasn't proven himself four times in many people's eyes. If he gets on a par with his team mate this year in a car outside his comfort zone, maybe then he will be considered alongside Alonso and Hamilton, not looking good so far though.
Would the promise shown by Hamilton on entry to F1 be because as a rookie, Lewis out psyched and out drove a two time world champion? Well that certainly shows promise and sells papers.

No, you're stuck in the queue. As usual.

Being in the queue gives one time to anticipate the ride!!

And it seems he even has the faster car of the two RB drivers. It was a big improvement for him to qualify quite well, but Ricciardo has outdriven him almost every race it seems.
Don't want to hope for failure but those four championships were unchallenged years.
