Bourdais posted the 8th fastest time today, but later crashed because he was going "too fast." And it will also prevent the Vettel from testing it tommorrow.

Bourdais got to try out the new Toro Rosso for the first time and finished with the eighth best time. However, the Frenchman crashed the new car in the afternoon, forcing the team to end its day prematurely after the car suffered heavy damage to the left side. Team officials ruled out mechanical failure, saying the Champ Car driver was simply going "too fast".
The crash will prevent teammate Sebastian Vettel from driving the new car on Thursday as planned as the team does not have enough parts on hand to get the car ready, so they've decided to end their test after just one day.
The STR3 is based on the current Red Bull RB4 and even includes the new shark fin over the engine cowling. It is scheduled to make its F1 debut at the Turkish Grand Prix next month.
