I absolutely agree with you Tex it was employees on both sides who transgressed not the whole teams . BIG difference being Ferrari played the situation to screw McLaren.

I have little doubt that McLaren would have acted in the same manner but that's just me.

McLaren took an unprecedented ridiculous fine and Ferrari got off scot free.

Ferrari must be fearing a fight-back from BMW and McLaren, and that Max Mosley leaving, so they are getting their excuses in early and readying their plans to have at least one of their rivals shafted.

Interestingly, Stepney has not been involved in anything at Ferrari since last spring...

Yeh I was just waiting to hear that one. Its funny but it reminds me alot of the McLaren lambs excuses that were flying around even before the racing started just in case their team failed

No, I don't see how anyone can draw that conclusion. This leak was to the press and as such is completely unrelated and in many ways dissimilar to Stepneygate.

Nobody can beat Ferrari on fair terms because they are cheating bar stewards, allowed to get away with it by the FIA and Ecclestone.

As for my original post on here, it was more in jest, but I think Formula One fans have the right to be suspicious about these matters given last year's happenings, what happened to Renault in 2006, the Michelin tyres several seasons back, and Toyota's own little spy scandal.

dude the whole purpose of the term "lamb" was because of the LARGE number of Ferrari followers in the world! to turn it around and use it in the context of McLaren doesnt make sense
