End of the day If Nico can only beat Lewis by foul play then the season is already over, If it was truly accidental then the season might not be so boring.

I think you've boiled it to its essence there bud. I really don't care which it was, it's in the past and doesn't really matter in the big picture scheme of things. I want the pressure to be on Lewis, I want the excitement that we've had in Bahrain and in Spain. This feels entirely different than the four years we've spent with Red Bull. At the moment the two wins that Nico has are clearly different than the four wins Lewis has.

More than the pole situation, the thing I was miffed about most was not being able to see a "push" pf Rosberg from Lewis in the last four or five laps of Monaco. A "return the favor" if you wish, to really see how he'd have handled the pressure... from the rear. :hehe:

They've taken this "battle" a little too far.

According to Lewis, it's all good now... Toto must have raked those boys over the coals.

They've been arguing over a bicycle now?

It appears so…and some smarty pants decided the proper course of action is to split the thing right down the middle. :hehe:

The "no problem" may not be a lie. It may just be a part of how he really feels, i.e. "no problem, now that I know what I'm dealing with."

It's good to clear the air because negative energy was bound to affect Hamilton the most. I'm sure there'll be people in Rosberg's ear telling him that the only way he can be Lewis is by unsettling him emotionally. If it came down to the racing, he knows he's up against it. Also, I think Mercedes have been a bit more balanced in their approach to dealing with both drivers than the often partisan line we saw from the McLaren hierarchy.

Clearing the air may be one thing, just to have the two on speaking terms again but my best guess is, this is the lesson that Lewsi will take to heart as to how to operate as a top F1 pilot. He endured the ruckus during his rookie year with Alonso, admittedly not expecting to be caught up in that sort of thing. Then he had to endure the snake-like politics of Button...two Brits in a British team...a team where Lewis was mentored and grew up. Again, didn't see the of-the-track nonsense coming. Now he is beating a team-mate, one who he shares so much friendly history going back to Junior karting. Mates all the way...but never saw the Detente at Mirabeau coming...from his good friend. I believe, from this point through the rest of Lewis' F1 career, he will have that six inch thick glass wall up, so he can be all smiles and cheers but no one will be able to get close enough to swindle him again. #trustnoone

Just a quick sidebar: totally unrelated but a bit related...Dan should take the same sort of approach because once Vettel gets the feeling back and is more competitive, I think Dan will start to see...how shall I put this...a different Red Bull team. Just my opinion.
