That looks stupid. It looks like one of those 'pwarp, pwarp' horns that kids have on bikes. And it's artificial, it's not real noise so why bother. The engines are what they are and we have to get use to it. They give us much better racing and opportunity to see drivers on the edge( or over it in the case of one of them) but they don't sound so good. That's a fair trade off for me.

I'm going to wait and see what it sounds like. Unfortunately it doesn't look silly enough to distract from the phallic-noses.

Niki Lauda has an interview with Autosprint saying he and Mercedes believe they need to fix the sound and its better to do it now. Although as much as I don't like the sound now, I would have been in the camp that said its better to fix it next year.

I think it's myopic to complain about the sound. I understand why some would complain, but I think it's ridiculous.
