I have to imagine in Lewis' debrief that he and his engineer have to work out a better level of communication. Leading up to his last stop, Lewis said do not take out three turns (front wing)…"it's too much" and the engineer response he got back was, "copy, we'll be taking out three turns." I suppose this is where, as a team, there may be margins of conflict between the driver under pressure and being so busy in the car, and the lads on the pitwall managing to data and strategy. It worked out well in the end but maybe a little housekeeping for the future.

Dr. Dieter Zetsche just commissioned a television spot showing both of their cars lapping Raikkonen. It was a tense race to say the least. My armpits were crazy sweaty! Fantastic drive by both Mercedes drivers, but it looks like Lewis is going to have to have some words with his pit lane folks. Giving away more than two seconds in the pits made that race unnecessarily close and they have to do better with the strategies.

Ricciardo and Bottas are a pleasure to watch race!
