Nigel Stepney's been killed in a road accident. Only 56 years old.
A highly regarded mechanic/engineer by colleagues in the business.

There's some conversation about him stepping out into traffic…suicide. Anyone hearing the same or different? Either way, sad loss of life. These days, 56 is still young.

Completely possible if the terms and the money are right. A year contract to put everything in place. Free reign and absolute autonomy and a massive pay off.

I doubt he'd stay much more than a year, he's eyeing retirement. But if he did, and he could offer Lewis a competitive car, why not? So long as there was driver parity, no Whitmarsh style shenanigans . Whats the record for most WDC's achieved at different teams?
It's one to each driver with a championship currently on the grid. Schumacher, two? I'm not good at remembering things like this.
