Water, water, water. I think that's the most important thing when you take to the sauce. A glass of water for every drink should limit your hangover as much as possible. (Yes, hard to do at times).

I know, however I don't think the water adds so much to that problem as much of it is the processing of alcohol rather than the liquid itself. Your kidneys are trying to get rid of the alcohol. I haven't noticed much difference in that area, while the mornings are markedly better (fingers crossed, often to the extent of no hangover).
