Every team that participates in F1.... contributes to F1. I'm as happy to see toyota on the grid as honda, Mercedes, BMW, and Ferrari. I couldn't care less if they have history here or not, they are building history as they go. Be careful what you wish for...an F1 without the teams you don't like...would not exist. The boring days of old where the only real question each and every race was how far up the field the red cars would lap.....sent several of my racing buddies to other series to watch. We race on weekends and typically watch F1 on Tivo the moment we get back home. What is the point in watching a series with one real team and a host of moving pilons for them to drive around? I say more power to the Toyota's, Honda's, Super Aguri's and Forced Indians and Red bulls of the world. I would be all for having a car/driver weight system based on budget spent. Spend more, weigh more.....new team struggling to figure out Aero....take a free weight bonus. Let them play, help them get better...it makes for better racing, more fans, more money and therefore...better teams.

Good on ya back markers.....here is to hoping you one day rise up to give Ferrari the butt kickin they deserve.

Well said man, that is the main reason why I dont hate Toyota. If you guys say all Toyota does is spend money on their program, then what the heck do you call Force India?? What do you want them to use, hopes and dreams?? Billindenver said it all for me, so thats why I quoted him, and I'll quote him again.

Mallya will give the team money depending on performance increases. If they improve with what he has given them, he will give them more. Toyota just give the team money and yet, unlike Force India, we've seen very little improvement from them.

Oh leave them Toyos alone. They're alright - I think I've read somewhere they have the highest ratio of female employees in the paddock, so that should count for somtin'

And their livery? Yeah, it's boring, so what? They stick with it because it's their national colors - land of the rising sun and all...
Not every team can have such cool colors as Honda (YUK!)

You dont call 4th in Malaysia, and 6th and 9th in Bahrain an improvement?? What do you consider and improvement then?

The highest ratio of female employees explains why they are not winning! (that is a joke i love women :P )

Toyota is lack of pace is more to do with their lack of knowledge of F1. Honda & Renault have been supplying engines for years so it did not take much for them to get to winning ways when they became a team. Toyota have been in F1 about 6 years and had to make their own engine and chassis. Instant success was never on the cards and hiring ralf made it worse. Give them time. If they are still in this position in another 4 years then they have a problem
