I gotta say, I'm not getting the slightest bit upset like I used to when I have to miss a race and the damn PVR malfunctions and doesn't record it. Getting boring.

It's only boring if all you care about is the race winner. There are plenty of interesting aspects to this season. How far has the Williams revival come? Will Force India hold their advantage or will it tail off? Now it looks like Kimi is getting the hang of his car, what will the team dynamics be like between his side of the garage and Alonso's for the rest of the season? Can Marussia surpass Sauber this season?

All sorts of interesting things to keep an eye on, much of which will take many races to unfold.

Nothing to do with that, but in your words, 'thanks for the sarcasm'. The point I'm making is that the odd boring race aside (of course they do happen), a F1 season is only as boring as you consciously decide it is.

It's all subjective, isn't it? Where one might be looking for passing and hard core racing,
someone else might be looking for nuances in driving style. Each of us will enjoy in a
different manner; but, no one way is more important/correct than the next.

Agree with this - I know some people have thought the race last weekend was boring, but I actually enjoyed it. I thought the strategic battle between the two Mercedes drivers was fascinating and I honestly didn't know who was going to win until the last couple of laps.
