Honestly there would have been zero conspiracy. I often look at these technical reports from races and I don't think I can remember seeing all teams on the same version. Each team gets to make their own decision as to when they change or upgrade their version. Released versions are all available to all teams at the same time.

Yeah, best of the rest by a few points. Mallya's comments are bit strange though, saying he doesn't want to wait another 5 years for a podium and hopefully they get more podiums.

I'd be thinking of going for a serious target, like maybe runners up or a top 3 in the WCC standings. The Merc power train is a massive gift and they have the car at present to match teams like McLaren. Maybe he's not confident of their development prowess.

Btw did anyone check out his latest hairstyle?

I predicted last year that WDC would be Lewis, Nico, Nico and WCC would be Merc, Force India

Mallya deserves it for sticking around and employing Hulk and Perez. He also looks like he has enjoyed a good curry or two in his time

Only recently caught up with this Grand Prix, as I've spent the last 2 days dealing with food poisoning, but IT WAS THE BEST RACE I'VE SEEN IN A LONG WHILE!!!!!

Everything was brilliant, from start to finish. (Apart from McLaren's technical issues).

A big shout out to Mercedes. I'm fine with a team doing better than the rest, providing they have two brilliant drivers who are allowed to race. Just like McLaren's era of dominance in the late 80s. And this is what we got at Bahrain. Fantastic stuff.

Hopefully, those clamouring for changes to the rules will now lay off... after great races in Melbourne, and ESPECIALLY Bahrain, I want to stick firmly with what we have!

Interesting max Chilton fact. In 2013 because of Heikki's two 14th place finishes, Chilton finished 23rd out of 22 drivers.
