It is sour grapes on the part of Ferrari and Red Bull, we see this time and time again in F1; and frankly it's tiresome! The truth is that if Renault or Ferrari were so far ahead like Mercedes are currently, I'd be willing to bet that Mercedes would be pushing for change or trying to get the (split turbo system, as used by Mercedes) design banned!

Sour grapes? Possibly! But, in the end, these teams/companies are involved in a VERY expensive endeavour.
Any one of us would do the same thing, just as you have mentioned and probably because of the ridiculous
amount of money on the table. Who wouldn't want to try to legitimately catch up and give any one ahead
a run for their money?

Fantastic seeing them race, from the early radio calls showing the sides of the garage wanting to race each other to the final stint after the SC. This is going to keep up all season.

In terms of percentage, they have to win 18/19 to beat McLaren Honda's record in 1988 (15/16).

But to win most races in a season they'd need 16. But did Ferrari achieve something close to this during their 2004 domination?
