True, also Seb seems to have made the start line wall cramming exercise into his own trademark, MS did it once in a while but Seb seems to do it almost every race
If they let Ron write the dictionary it would be Vettelerisation

He didn't seem to have much time for Vettel in that little pre-podium room. It made him look a bit of an arrogant pr!ck to be honest.

Really? Made him look like the Dalai Lama to me, for resisting a nice sock in Vettels face for that startline stunt.

Nico is an absolute tell it like it is guy and his comment on the podium was challenging and brutally honest and showed he left it all in the track. An instant Prost Senna moment in the history of the sport!

I like the bit in the room, just before the podium where he congratulated Lewis yet again, then crouched down and pulled at his hair. You could tell from that just how much he put into that race.

What a personality. I'd say if the roles were reversed Lewis wouldn't have taken it as well as Nico did, this guy is just class. Best partnership hands down, maybe ever since Senna/Prost.

ESPNF1 Nico Rosberg admitted the exciting conclusion to the Bahrain Grand Prix was little consolation after losing his personal battle for victory with team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

Rosberg just could not find a way past Hamilton in the closing stages in Sakhir after a safety car period brought his team-mate within striking range. Rosberg admitted losing to his team-mate is a bitter blow and underlined his determination to make amends in China.

"It was intense, very, very intense out there," Rosberg said. "I swore big time at him in the helmet, thankfully you [the TV viewers] didn't hear that. It was a big battle and really aggressive, putting everything to the limit. It was so close. So many times I thought 'OK, now I've got him', and he came back at me so he did well. I strongly dislike coming second to Lewis, that's really not something I enjoy doing. But on the other hand it was definitely the most exciting race I've ever done in my whole career, and I hope we were able to give all the fans fantastic racing. Today was a day for the sport, we put on a massive show as Team Silver Arrows. I hope you had a lot of fun in front of the TV. I'll be back next race for the win."

Rosberg also said the entertaining spectacle in Bahrain was good for the sport.

"I was quicker today and just didn't manage to get by him, he did a good job. I need to do that a little bit better next time. Definitely a very exciting race, you can't say the sport was boring after today which is a small positive. Of course I'm unhappy with that and need to do one better next time."

Despite coming off second-best to Hamilton for the second race in a row Rosberg is trying to stay upbeat.

"We are looking great and we have a lot of momentum. We need to keep pushing like that. For sure [it's positive] we are strong. It's a nice moment to be in with this team, having the opportunity to win every race. We musn't forget, and I musn't forget in a difficult moment after this race, I'm still leading the championship by 11 points. I was very quick today, the quickest car today, so onwards and upwards and the next one is mine."

No excuses, it's refreshing to see, this is how it should be! Kudos Nico for already looking towards China!

I love how he said he was swearing a lot while driving. As someone who rides a motorcycle, I curse and talk all kinds of sh1t inside my helmet frequently, so I often wonder if F1 drivers do the same and I would absolutely LOVE to have a mic in there to hear it all the time

It kind of reminds me of the movie 300...I had a friend who didn't like the movie because he said the spartans were yelling too much, and here I am wondering WTF? Wouldn't you be yelling and making a raucous if thousands of people were trying to kill you?? In this case, wouldn't you be swearing at mother $#@!ers with whom you were going wheel to wheel? I'm a huge fan of visceral things like that. Maybe because I'm so loud and boisterous myself...idk...it just makes it so much more real to me.

It was good that you could see just how unhappy he was, despite his efforts. Not moody and hateful, like some drivers have been, but definitely unhappy. I think we are in for a very intense title battle, and we're probably going to see a lot more hard racing between the two. One thing I will say is that I thought Rosberg was far more generous than Hamilton during the race yesterday - at one stage, when he made the pass going into the first corner, he left plenty of room and Lewis took it, whereas Lewis was pushing him right up to the limits. I think Rosberg just needs to get a little more forceful. That was probably the point at which he could have sealed the deal.

He's a fantastic driver and I'm glad that he's finally got a chance to show what he's made of. Even if he comes out second at the end of this year (which, honestly, I don't think anyone can say at this point), there's no denying that he's right up there with the best of the current generation.

Nico showed strength of character yesterday, however by all accounts he should have won that race. DRS and FRESH OPTIONS... they should have been enough, but they weren't. What we saw yesterday was a master class in defending a position. Not at all like what we saw Massa doing to defend his position.

Lewis did yesterday what very few drivers in F1 history could have done and there's no shame in Nico for not having been able to overtake his team mate.
