Who said other drivers dont? Why does 'lewis deserve a dominant car' mean only he does and no one else

If you feel someone else deserves a dominant car why not say so and you could even say why, why jump on Lewis

Sorry, at what point did I jump on Lewis? I simply asked why he feels Lewis deserves a dominant car...

I know this is a Ham support thread, but why does Lewis deserve a dominant car and other drivers don't?

Sounds like the old 'whats so special about Lewis' or 'there is nothing special about Lewis' leading by extrapolation to 'his fans are unreasonable about his capability' ending with 'he should not be supported on a Lewis support thread as this is kicking the other drivers'

I think Bud summed it up best, 'because lesser drivers have had one'. Lewis has had to fight tooth and nail for every one of his victories (except the Silverstone wet race where he won by a minute but that's just talent b!atches!!!) so we can consider this year, " Lewis' break ". Does this make sense?

Lewis' take on Bahrain:

The Bahrain circuit is a real challenge: particularly for the tyres in terms of overheating. Quite often you get sand blowing onto the track, which is one of the unique features of this circuit and throws another challenge into the mix. A dusty track will have less grip than a clean one, so you have to prepare for that to change even between qualifying sessions.

The layout has a great combination of fast, slow and medium corners which make it tough for the drivers and the car. The lap starts with a long, DRS-enabled straight heading into the first corner. This is very tight right-hander, changing down to first or second gear before immediately shifting up again as you head immediately into Turns Two and Three.

After the second of four straights, Turn Four requires quite heavy braking and can catch you out on the exit. As you clip the apex the track starts to drop away from you and it can be quite tricky to stop the car from sliding wide. After the downhill section of Turns Five, Six, Seven and Eight, you rise up again briefly before a tricky slope down through Turns Nine and 10. These are off camber and it's easy to lock the inside wheel as the curve gets tighter and tighter.

The third straight comes next, with a second DRS zone making the following corner at Turn 11 one of the best overtaking opportunities around the track. This is a flowing curve which switches back into the right-hander at Turn 12. You try to take this flat out before braking into Turn Thirteen. You need a late apex through this corner and it's essential to get that right, as it leads into the fourth and final straight of the lap. The same applies for the Turn 14 and 15 combination, which bring you back onto the home straight.

In Malaysia, Nico looked to be in a little better shape than me in Friday practice. He was a fraction quicker, he looked after the tyres and ran a little longer, and then it just flipped around for the race.
Some of that, I think, was down to making the right choices in preparation for the race.
In practice this year, we have to minimise the laps we do, because we only have five engines to last the whole season.
In each session, I might have three runs of three timed laps, and in those laps I have to be absolutely on it, get as good a feel for the car as possible, and then apply that to how the track is developing as the race weekend goes on.

It helps that I feel much more at home in this year's car than last year's.
I was never that happy with the way the car was last year, and even in pre-season testing this year I wasn't sure whether I would be, but since the first race of the season in Australia, it's just clicked.

It was kind of weird this year to have people asking whether I could adapt to the new Formula 1 rules. I was like: "Are you serious?" I've adapted to every car I've ever driven. It's what we do.
But it was great to be able to show that. I even used a bit less fuel than nearly everyone else - although I used a bit more in the last couple of laps just exploring what the car could do.
I set the fastest lap, which was great, but it wasn't for fun.
The car felt good and I thought it was important to learn what it was able to do in case I needed it in any situation that might arise in the future this year.

It's a point that I made on my blog of the last race in Malaysia; I am willing to bet that if Lewis Hamilton dominates this season; winning the lions share of the races, we won't here the whinging like we did when Vettel was winning everything in sight. Personally I want to see multiple winning drivers from multiple teams this season; although it looks ominous for a Mercedes whitewash!

But at least with Merc, Nico will be encouraged to put up a fight, whereas at RBR Webber was visibly treated like a water carrier.
This year could be like the classic Senna vs Prost years, and now Nico has a big head start it could be the best solution to see Lewis have to claw back the deficit.
And Nico can cement a reputation as one of the best

I think we all want to see competition but given the massive regulations change it was bound to be one of the engine manufacturers/constructors that got it right. It turned out that Mercedes got it very right. The competition will be better next year I'm sure, but in the mean time I won't complain the this year we won't see a Red Bull double double again. Rosberg will also put up a good fight and not have to hand over his wing and not worry that he'll be overtaken should the multiple 21 call cone over the radio.
