A bit of sour grapes but also could be something in it, I mean is he referring to how Mclaren use their drivers to play the team game? or is it something deeper? If it's the team game then perhaps Mclaren have to realise that in order to compete with Ferrari from looking how they were so dominant in recent years.

Also he seems to have forgotten that one very small difference in the final race in Brazil last year could've given either himself or Hamilton (both Mclaren drivers) the championship. Ok, neither won but I'd hardly say they were out of contention at all throughout the whole season.

You guys were actually watching F1 last year and the year before right? Unless my aging memory has gone bad, FA signed with McLaren after Renault made noises like they were leaving F1. By the time they changed their minds, FA had signed at McLaren. He didn't hop over there after winning the championship for any of the rediculous reasons some of you are trying to bake up. He left because it looked like the car was evaporating under him. He spent one year with a rookie and his team, both of which treated Alonso like the 5th wheel...so he returned to the team he is happy at. That's all. No big conspiracy, internet, bong pipe dreamed up drama...just a Brit team with a Brit rookie that they let do anything he wanted at Alonso's expense...then they cheated and pulled Alonso into scandal...so he left. No big surprise there. I don't blame the man at all. I do so love to see Hamilton blow another year's points though....makes my day every time he screws the pooch.

Another comedian on the forum by the sounds of it.

That's Adrian Newey for you. His cars are dreadfully unreliable for one reason or another. Look at Red Bull (although things are slightly better this year).

I don't know about that, FW14/15 & 18? They were pretty good on the whole.

If i were Alonso i'd be trying to get into the BMW team somehow, not Ferrari.

Alonso need's to settle down, loose his ego, stick with Renault and help develope the car back into race winning contention. All his shuffling about is a negative for him and the team's he drive's for.

My own point of view is that Newey lost his touch. He did well at McLaren until 2000 and there was really little else after that until the 2005 season.

Just about the time he started putting his energy into Americas Cup boat design. Ron had a word about "priorities", Newey shuffled off.
As for AlonsOh,Oh,Oh,Oh. PLEASE sign for FIAt, go on you know you want to. Pretty Please?

Alonso is a talented driver but his fans seem to be on a similar path to JV fans back in the day.... and so Is Fernando

Fat chance of that happening. JV went to an brand new team with limited budget after Williams. FA is in a team that has won two of the last three WCC and a huge history of F1. Plus Ferrari's president likes FA. Your wishes are more likely to happen to LH.

You guys were actually watching F1 last year and the year before right? Unless my aging memory has gone bad, FA signed with McLaren after Renault made noises like they were leaving F1. By the time they changed their minds, FA had signed at McLaren.

Finally someone who does not hate FA. Yes, FA needs to cool it off track, so he is not perfect. At least he is perfect on track, and he does not do things on track like not letting someone past like it was agreed, crying to RD, taking someone out in order to win WDC, making you team mate give up the lead in the last corner and any other un-sportsman behaviour on track. besides being very very fast legitimately.
