Toyota seem curiously souless to me, maybe I just don't like Jarno...............

You're not alone, Toyota are souless, think they can solve everything by throwing money at it, have virtually no fans and probably wouldn't be missed if they left F1. They've done something right in trying to make the car a little bit different (even though I'm not convinced and they still have the same boring livery) but they will still get their arses kicked by Williams. Toyota and Trulli have a habit of starting seasons well but they fade as it goes on, so I don't think it'll be long before they drop behind Honda, Renault, Red Bull and maybe even Toro Rosso.

I'll admit the guy can be a bit of a whiner but not nearly as much so as Hamilton and FA is clearly the better driver. Hamilton might grow into a bigger pair of shoes with some proper attitude coaching but he's not there yet. Renaults performance already this year is leaps ahead of where they were last year....FA did that. Now, if they could just get him to keep his mouth shut.

He was right in leaving McLaren, they are a british team who just love their sniveling young puppy but FA really needs to leave the explanations of it to someone better suited for public speaking.

I agree. I find it frustrating that Alonso plays the politics of F1 off-track so badly but he his a great model for a driver on track and he won against the all time best, the great MS, fair and square. Mclaren just wanted LH to win and it was plain obvious and sicking, I was surprise that they did not sabotage FA in some way towards the end.

From F1 website
“I think Fernando’s qualifying performance probably flattered us a little bit,” said Symonds during a team podcast on Renault’s official website. “We were not the tenth quickest car out there all weekend probably more likely 12th or 13th. So qualifying performance slightly above race performance but neither of them near where we want them to be.

FA has definitely helped Renault and he will help the team who ever he is with, just like MS did with Ferrari.

Why does everyone hate Toyota?? I think they are alright, but to me it seems like nobody enjoys Toyota in F1.

Because they're a corporate team, not a racing team.

People hate them because they're soulless. They have no racing pedigree, their car shows no passion...They don't belong in F1

I dont see them any differently than Honda or BMW or Mercedes for that matter.

All those companies have history in F1 racing and/or show passion. Toyota has no such history and you have to take just 1 look a their livery to see they have no passion.
