If you had a choice as a race goer, and you were limited to going to a race in the states (by the way I want my first race to be in Europe) where would you want to go? Indy? Probably a true historical experience. Or an after party conducive, highly entertaining, beautiful people laden destination. Why I want to go to Europe for my first race is because I would spend about ten days there, whereas in the states, although more affordable, I would spend three to four days at the destination (practice, quali, race) and then go home... Unless the place was absolutely PIMP!!!

Consider Montreal...

Montreal vs Indy... Yeah I could see that working. Is Carrabana in Montreal?? The fact is I would be using it as an excuse to go to Spain or Italy. However if go in the States, I would want it to be something a little more, as if F1 isn't enough....

Montreal has that je ne sais quoi European flair. The race is usually very interesting, the atmosphere is terrific.

Montreal has that je ne sais quoi European flair. The race is usually very interesting, the atmosphere is terrific.

I have heard and read the same thing as well as seeing pic's. The opinion is that Montreal is like going to europe without the cost. I do understand what you mean though Stealthgate007 as there is just something I love about experiencing the rest of the world abroad.

Suitable as a track yes imho but they are decade's behind on F1's safety requirement's so it is most likely out of the question. That track has so much F1 history it is a shame F1 does not race there anymore .

One thing I feel very strongly about is that if F1 was to return to a track like WG it would be a sellout every year and there would be a waiting list for ticket's.

It would be nice. I'd like to see more than one race in America, because it's a huge country and having only one race there means that it won't attract many fans. Having one at each side would probably be a better idea, but Bernie would rather take deals in the Far East

I want it on the streets of Buffalo NY. Reason: It's only 2 hours from me!!
Also, Nobody lives there anymore so it wouldn't disrupt anything. F1 could BUY the city and that would do it. Also I want the Canadian GP to move to the streets of Oshawa Ontario. Reason: It's 20 minutes from me!!
Also, there's nothing there but mullets and teenage moms so we won't disrupt anything there either, and the GM plant is there so maybe we can entice them to enter F1.

Nice to hear the door is still open. I think it's pretty essential for the US to have a Grand Prix if it's going to bring a new audience to F1. I'd argue against Indianapolis though as the track is bloody awful.
