I went to my regular watering hole Vietnamese restaurant and when I was being seated I saw one of the waitresses having her lunch. So I approached her while in the middle of a bite and asked her if everything was okay with her meal.

Lol no, we had 2 picky eaters with us and a 3 year old that is where it all went wring.

Children menu was "smaller portions of the adults meals"

All the food was very...er.. let's call it pompous.

I just screen shot a menu, that was not today's menu but you get the gist of the food.

One of the items today was hand cut chips and a bacon burger. For £10.80 (Google says $18 USD)

p.s. most restuarants here have a special and "different" kids' menu, which usually
includes pizza, French fries, chicken nuggets, etc...

Today I read the most disgusting story in my life. It was so bad I couldn't finish the 6 sentences it consisted of, and I wouldn't wish anyone even reads it let alone go through it as some guy did.
