Sorry to say, but too late 388. The engine noises were the main attraction to actually attend a race since you feel it in your body and you NEED(ed) ear plugs if you cared about your eardrums...

Luckily, 3double8, we have more than just the one sense! Don't deprive yourself of the experience based on the different sound!
Even if the engines don't "sound" the same, there will still be the sights, the smells, the feelings and the "taste" of F1 racing that
will make it memorable, no matter what race you attend!!


Yes indeed, wouldn't miss it. Can hardly wait for November. My hearing is messed by the loud music I play in the car anyways. :P

Anyway it's better to look at the positives and I'm sure this sound will grow on us sooner or later. It's just the fact that they're quieter which is why we have so many b!tching about it but maybe if they installed woofers near the exhausts it will please more people. :blush: The sound of the new PUs could sound pretty cool if they were just much louder.


Yeah that got me wondering whether that whistle sound from the turbo has always been there.
