Sixty years ago in 1954 Mercedes made their debut appearance in F1 with three drivers. One ( Herrmann ) suffered an early retirement, while the other two went on to score an impressive one/two that lapped the field. Anything sound a little bit familiar? Read on for more details.............

Did Merc put out a statement on what actually was wrong with Lewis' car? Was it a bad coil?

The traction control software went kaput.

Does the McLaren CPU unit control that?

Hmmn, everyone knows TC is illegal after the RBR conspiracy theory last year, so it could be a joke that would be unfair on McLaren as they are not as hapless as they were anymore.

Or it could be part of the recent Merc should be worried about Mac proposition based on a wrong fact

"Pray"? Pray to whom? It should have been more along the lines of "Thoughts are with.." or "Thinking of...", but at least the thought is there. It's good to see the support, and I'm sure the families of those in question will be touched by such messages.

Well the latest update came just 12 hours back (after Merc made that vinyl) that the plane debris has been spotted in the Indian Ocean, no survivors. So there's nothing to pray for anyway, if they knew this earlier they could change the sticker to "Condolences @mh370" or something.
