Yes, it's Ferrari, which means it's classy and it's sophisticated.

At the GP's there are often groups of Ferrari fans, the ones where they're all head to toe in Ferrari gear, everything red, shoes, socks, shorts, shirt, hat, jacket/bodywarmer, glasses, manbag, phone etc. Definitely not classy or sophisticated. I imagine Ferrariland would be like being stuck inside one of these fans wardrobes.

 Well, you'd be sadly disappointed to see me at a race!!
I have no problem showing my "colours"; but, going overboard is definitely not my thing.
And, I'm betting it won't be what Ferrari has on the book for this venture.

Here are some pictures I googled from Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi:

Sure, there are a lot of red accents; but, let's face it, any designer worth their salt will choose a theme
to run through a building of this magnitude!

The only themed hotels that work are hotel themed hotels.

It might be a good strategy to have the hotel rates be as competitive as other hotels around it (aka, no high class flying stuff) and then advertize all duty free Ferrari merchandise in the stores. Ferrari theme in rooms of course with portraits and what not. One hell of a good experiential marketing technique, if people can't afford a Ferrari they get to live the 'passion' for a few nights and maybe get themselves a few souvenirs. Souvenirs to be sold at a slight global discount (maybe 10-15%, cheaper than anywhere else) for guests.

The key would be to keep the rates competitive and attract a lot of customers to come and get more absorbed in the brand. It'd be a great way to expand the fanbase and get a revenue.

But what's most likely to happen is to charge people through the roof and only have 10% of the rooms booked on most nights while making an annual loss, and financed by Ferrari's road car profits.

You'll notice I wrote manbag, I've not seen so many of the ladies take it to such extremes.

That's one way of looking at it! Personally, I think it highlights the significance!!
His emotions got the better of him and he acted upon them.
The photographer, on the other hand reasoned he'd not have another opportunity to
catch the drama on film and concluded it would be better(Image) to keep taking pictures!

Surely you are not saying its ok to batter a female in public if your emotions get the better of you? My opinion is that the quote is flawed in that emotion leads to uncontrollable or irrational action if separated from reason. And the author proves it. Its never right to have action as a result of emotion if it has not being reasoned.
Its all very well saying passion is good, reason is boring etc, but surely you can see that the statement has little merit especially coming from someone who will beat up a weaker person because of 'passion'
And I cant see how the photographer is the baddie here for not taking action against the perp. If there were no pictures, she would have continued to be battered at home. Because of the media she left
In the wake of the incident, Lawson's spokesperson has issued a short statement:

Nigella and her children have moved out of the family home.

That sounds hopeful, but Saatchi says there's an explanation for that too:

The paparazzi were congregated outside our house after the story broke yesterday morning, so I told Nigella to take the kids off till the dust settled.

and then it gets better, the passionate guy with the clever quotes then does this
CHARLES SAATCHI has challenged the 77-year-old Spectator columnist Taki Theodoracopulos to a brutal cage fight over comments involving his ex-wife Nigella Lawson.

The 70-year-old multi-millionaire art collector was responding to a column written by Taki last week in the Spectator.

Describing Saatchi as "repellent", Taki wrote: "The art world is full of rogues and pirates, and in my book the heroic man who grabbed Nigella by the throat is both of these things, and he is most welcome to come and try to grab my little throat anytime."

to mods, apologies for the OT, wasnt sure it warranted a thread
to Sagi, we should drop this if you are happy with it, I really thought your signature was some kind of irony thats all

Re-railing this thread.

If the showers in the Ferrari hotel don't sound like a Ferrari FXX then I don't know what you're paying for.

Technically the official color of Ferrari is yellow.

The red is there because that was the color defined for Italian cars (not just Ferrari) in Grand Prix racing. This predates F1 when teams carried the color of their nation - green for British teams, grey for German teams and blue for French teams.

Actually the German colour was white. One year they decided to not paint the cars and became the colour of the metal under

Yellow is Ferrari, red is Italy, White was Germany till they stopped painting the cars, maybe to save weight and became Silver (unpainted metal)
