Gutted for Lewis today. Though if anyone comes back stronger after being handed a sh!t card, it's Lewis. I just hope he has a reliable machine to work with in Malaysia.

I was gutted too. Felt so down. But talent will come through and Lewis has that in bucket loads, and now he has a fast car and a fair team mate . You can never account for Lady Luck, but last year Nico had car failures too. I just really really hope Lewis gets a fait crack this year, please Lady Luck! Don't be mean to Lewis!

It was gutting, but in a way a good dynamic for Lewis in the team. He earned the pole, would almost certainly have won and like Silverstone Nico did not fail to take over and reap the benefit.
If Lewis continues to out perform Nico it becomes clearer within the team who the 'leader' is.
Its better in that sense for Nico to start with an advantage that was an act of God instead of Lewis doing a Seb on him

Over a season Lewis has all the tools to get the job done. The Merc has no peers, its closest competitor is a customer alomst 2 seconds slower at present. Lewis will get more poles than Nico. Winning to Nicos second will give a full race win advantage in points every few races

I was sad to see Lewis go out as well. I think Mercedes have the speed and the drivers to take both the Championships. I know Lewis is super speedy and with the right car will we be having a repeat of last season? Everyone moaned about Vettel romping ahead, some even alluded to rules violations, so if Lewis in a Merc romps ahead I will assume that is pure speed and a great car.
Lewis will be back and I would bet on a pole in Sepang.
