Not sure if I'm buying the software glitch explanation so much, Daniel Ricciardo beat seb 2 out of the three FP sessions, with FP3 by a second and change. Software glitch, there would have been plenty of time to straighten that out.

Seb clearly had a problem with his car. The prob has been there most of the event. If they can sort the prob out for him then I'd say he still has every chance of harvesting good points from this race. A win is possible for him.
I've said from the outset that the championship winner this year will fit the following criteria. First be reliable, second have the best aeros. The powertrain is not relevant beyond being reliable.
Lastly on the crowd reaction, I don't think Seb well give two hoots. He's a champion and that's part of a champion's DNA.

Sebs problem was caused by him unable to handle the driveability of the car on max power settings. His teammate could. He could have had the same car as ricc but choose to experiment.
It's good to see that Seb has a car just as good as the Mercs so he should be able to continue his winning streak because he is such a good driver
