Dude he DIDNT impede at all,

they took turns who had the last run in Q each race, the last guy having the run meant longer fuel burn plus slightly grippier track, thus the advantage of going out after your team mate.
there was no Physical impeding at all by Hamilton. so i dont know where you are getting that from.

Uh, Bud, I think you should read the posts carefully. None of them have been about Hamilton impeding Alonso, but about Alonso impeding Hamilton in the pits. ;)

form of blocking squire....

Which was made in reference to Alonso stopping in the pits, not Hamilton letting Alonso have the lap. I was opposed to the decision to penalise Alonso at Monza 2006 for 'blocking' Massa, so why would I now want to say that Hamilton was blocking Alonso? It wouldn't make sense...
#39522
Alonso did that because LH blocked him on his flying lap.

to my post defending Hamilton saying he didnt block him

to your reply
which is a form of blocking, squire

ofcourse i would take that as in reference to Hamilton blocking

Ah, then that would be my mistake. When I read your post, I got the impression that you thought that what Alonso did wasn't blocking, but perhaps something else. Sorry about that.

its a forum, easy to misread stuff
kinda like trying to send a funny text message sometimes they just dont work

By not letting Alonso pass, Hamilton prevented him from having plenty of space in which to set a very fast lap. Furthermore, if you're going to disobey a legitimate order from your team, you shouldn't be in the team.

Sorry, but this order was not legitimate. It was for the legitimate / best interest of the team, but not to the interest of motorsport competition. This is why Mclaren were punished. Lewis disobeyed an illegitimate team order which may not be correct but it is not entirely unethical. Mainly because during Q it was not the time for Lewis to take into his hands the strategies for his team, just as it was not the time for Alonso to 'punish' his teammate. The same goes for Lewis about the Monaco thing: in public, in a press conference it was not the time for Lewis to voice his opinions about the procedures within the team. Imagine Heikki doing this... anyone else but Lewis would have gotten into serious trouble with the team management and the press....

offtopic but who here has done any awesome mobile/cell phone pranks on their mates?

i once grabbed my mates phone while he wasnt watching edited my contact details so that my phone numbers name was a girl he was seeing at the time then texted him to say "david i am pregnant" should have seen his face when he read the text  he ran out side to call(which would have been me) i ran after him cracking up to tell him what happened.
he wasnt happy with me

how can that be illegitimate in trying to give drivers equality by taking turns in who goes out in which order for each race?
so youre suggesting that the teams should just let their drivers "race" to get out first from the pits in Q? or have an order in which they go about things?
next youll say pit strategies are illegitimate team orders
