Watched the practice sessions...dont like the new engine sound...i can actually hear the tires squeal when they're breaking hard lol.. The only good thing with the new sound is radio transmissions will be easier to understand...

Interesting sessions, looking fwd to qualifying tomorrow. Hopefully the rain holds off for the race and we see how the new setups handle flat out racing while managing their fuel consumption.

I am wondering that because Red Bull have not run any front camera mounts if they have some trick up their sleeve until we get to AUS!

Does quali start at 5 am? Or is it the programme that starts at 5 am? I need to know when to set my alarm. I'm nackered. I stayed up to see first but of Fo1 then hit up yo watch FP2. Going to bed now.

I thought that the cameras had to be mounted in a specific position on the nose; to be fair for all teams; if Red Bull have a camera embedded in the nose and other teams have it bolted to the outside of the nose, it's hardly fair!

I think it says the camera has to be in a certain area.

Yes it's on another thread here. Ferrari didn't use a safety cover for their turbo charger on the grounds that the turbo unit was safe enough. The rules said you had to have a safety housing around the turbo.

Ferrari are racing with their design in Melb. Teams that didn't think of Ferrari's solution have threatened to not accept the FiA's ruling and take it further.
