Today I have been chain sawing and stacking wood in Wales, because when I arrived at the cottage wind had wreaked havoc with the trees. A massive one completely down near the house....fell away from the cottage fortunately. Another one up the garden......it goes up steeply...huge branches sheared off and resting on the electrical cables
Here's some pics.
This one shows the cottage and the tree near it that fell down. Note the two smaller trees nearby leaning at a precarious angle.
This is the roots of that tree
This is the tree at the top of the garden, you can see the electrical cable tangled in the trees.
And this is a metal arch for supporting plants that lead to a secret part of the garden, it's all tangled and smashed now.
