I wouldn't go that far but judging by the Merc teams dominance in pre-season testing; it's Mercedes Australian GP to throw away! As for the rest of the season, a lot could happen, especially after the flyaway races.

I hear you, although I rather think its the other way round, a lot could happen in this o in any race, but over the whole year its Mercs to throw away.

Thing is we have seen a trend for a while now, with Merc piling money in and monstering the new regs, if they are as ahead as they look, there is absolutely no reason to think they wont continue to our develop the others through the year. Even if another team suddenly started developing at a faster rate they would still have to catch up and then pull ahead. There is no evidence any other team has prepared as well, so I think over the season looks more likely at this moment (not withstanding some artful sandbagging by Ferrari RBR or McLaren)

I've got a tenner on a Williams win.

To be fair I won it on a scratch card though.

Hi people, only my second time here so I decided to join up. Been a long time Ferrari fan. Looking forward to the start of the season, I think it will be a long one with lots of twists and turns. Merc are looking good for this race but probably more important to make sure you finish at this part of the season.
