Max plans to donate any money gained from his lawsuit against NOTW to the FIA foundation, awww what a great man how can anyone want him gone now?

Heh-heh, good one Bud.

The FIA foundation campaigns to make roads safer and ultimately save lives. It is a registered charity so i fail to see the joke

Max manipulating the situation to make himself look like a saint is a joke!

I agree, bud. It's very easy to be generous in defeat and when you have a personal fortunes of millions anyway. Mosley - once again - is trying to make himself out to be the good guy. The man has no integrity whatsoever.

Mosley has also damaged the image of F1 before. Indy 2005 anyone? Minardi, Jordan and Ferrari had consented to the Michelin runners' idea of a chicane to stop the Michelins failing, Bernie approved of the idea but Mad Max wouldn't have any of it, he also wouldn't let Michelin ship over some emergency tyres that wouldn't fail, and then there was the boycott and the rest is history. So all in all, Max caused the Indy 2005 debacle.

Did he ever state his reasons for that?

We are now free to see Max in all his glory

Mosley loses video injunction
NoW free to show Mosley umpalumpa video

FIA President Max Mosley today lost an injunction against the News of the World to prevent them from publishing the controversial video of Mosley engaging in various acts with prostitutes, first revealed by the Sunday newspaper just over two weeks ago.

The video was initially removed from the News of the World website but the high court today refused an injunction to prevent the from being published.

"The dam has effectively burst," the BBC report Mr Justice Eady as saying. "I have, with some reluctance, come to the conclusion that although this material is intrusive and demeaning, and despite the fact that there is no legitimate public interest in its further publication, the granting of an order against this respondent at the present juncture would merely be a futile gesture.

Tom Crone, Legal Manager for News of the World parent company News Group Newspapers Limited, stated: "Max Mosley's attempt to suppress the News of the World's video of his sordid activities has failed. The film is now back on the News of the World website."

Crone went on to state that the video depicted an 'orgy of s ex and violence' and is – contrary to what Mosley has said - based on a 'sick fantasy based upon the brutalities of Nazi Germany.'

The BBC just said that the FIA meeting to vote on Mosley's future will be held on June 3. By that time, if the media forgets about him in the meanwhile, he will get away with it. I believe that a private life should remain private and as long as he does not carry out his fantasies for real, then I guess that it should remain private and not lose your job for it. However, Mosley has always behave in a dictatorial and uncompromising manner that if we apply the same standards to his position, then he should go. The knives are out and going deep simply because he was not a nice guy.

In a sense what is private should be just that private the big BUT is that one's personal moral's come into scrutinty because they effect that person's day to day life decision's either via personal or professional.

Max has shown that he is a 'power whore' and anyone who disagree's with him will have his utmost rath brought down upon them. Try to see it like this Ferrari is MY TEAM but the personal consideration's/vendetta's Max has shown has brought not only Ferrari into disrepute but McLaren as well and the FIA and all that it stand for. The 2007 season was a farce because of Max and his umpalumpa hollier than thou attitude.

Ok... I can be convinced that if your fantasies are illegal or morally wrong and you have a job that requires you to be legal and morally right, then I can see how it affects a person's job. Would we call for his head if he was just plain frolicking with five F1 grid girls who are over 18? (yeah, I don't want to be fired for my fantasies)

Max has shown that he is a 'power whore' and anyone who disagree's with him will have his utmost rath brought down upon them.

That is why the rath is now being bought upon him. No forgiveness for him as well. Personally, I think he should have been fired when he let only six cars race in USA 2005.

There are some opinions here that suggest that what anyone does in their private life is their business only.
Not so, in this case MM is the head of a world wide organisation. Within the world there are lots of different religious / moral standards and a person in his position must be able to be acceptable all over the world. MM will never now be acceptable in these areas. We cannot make judgements just based on our own moral standards when the whole world is involved.
On top of that, I personally respect what people do in their private lives but people in these positions are expected to be honest, ethical and 'pillars' of society. MMs behaviour does not fit into this. Even if it was just an S&M romp it would be bad enough, but the Nazi connotations just finish the thing, especially from a man with his background.
several of you have referred to other things, to do with F!, where you feel MM should have been sacked for that. I think that MM has built up a strong 'antifan' base over the years, within the industry, so this incident is the lever some people have been looking for.
MMs position is untenable now, for the FIA to leave him in will be seen as an insult by the Germans, Japanese, Jews, Arabs and most reasonable people.

Not to mention people with conditions such as colour blindness, asthma, and who turned up late for work one morning.

The fact the meeting is being held so far into the future is a farce. Another "Mughabe moment" from Mosley.

Isnt hiring Hookers an Illegal act in the UK anyway? not to mention cheating on his wife. while these are private matters the guy is in a public position where everything he does is scrutinized this type of affair seems enough to bring down US pollies, why are you different Max?

Cheating on his wife is a civil matter if she chooses to press the charge I believe, but hiring a hooker is legal, except when it's a hooker on the street. "Standing on a street corner" or "driving the kirb" (From the prostitute and the client's POVs respectively) are illegal though. That is to say, you can't make a transaction involving sexual acts in public.
