Massa just beat that by 0.2 and is now the fastest across the 3 tests by 0.026.

14:18 That's narrowly the fastest time yet across the two pre-season tests at the Sakhir circuit. By less than three hundredths of a second...

14:17 Massa responds and goes back to the top in the Williams, shaving a further two tenths from Rosberg's best.

Pace from williams, fastest lap so far of the 2 tests

Yeah, Merc did their time on the first day on softs, Mass did it on SS, so there is obliviously more to come from Merc. Williams are close, maybe second. McLaren havent improved like Williams so they are still 2 seconds behind, Ferrari have improved to McLaren level. Dont know about FI as they were on long runs

I dont think there can be any doubt now about Ferrari 1 lap pace, however their long runs aeem also slower than the Merc, Williams and FI

So its looking like Merc, Williams, FI/McLaren, Ferrari, then the rest maybe headed by RBR if the car can last a lap

We could be looking down a real possibility of Mass beating Alonso at the first race by a margin

I think at least for the first race if every car were to finish, the only suspense would be which cars come 9th and 10th

Well.....in one if the prediction threads I have Massa down to win a race. I'd be delighted for him if he did.

If we had a pic of the day thread, this is my nominee for today. It's like he's actually getting used to doing this already.

I'd vote for that, because it shows a driver who's not afraid to get his hands dirty!!

We know Renault are probably on their 25th unit by now :hehe: but what about Ferrari?

I'm not sure he'll be looking on this car as such a darling at the moment.
