I'm wondering....how many safety cars do we see in Melbourne? At the rate cars are stopping and red flags for every frigging stop, we might have almost 80% of the race under a safety car, to retrieve each and every car will take about 5-8 minutes....x about 12 cars to stop (lol) that translates to roughly 90 minutes. And we haven't even counted the time for the SC waiting for the leader and it's in lap.

I'm sure at least 4 Mercedes powered cars and 2 Ferrari powered cars will finish the race.

I'm excited! Can't wait to see all the shiney cars on the grid. My husband is getting excited as well, called me from work to say Rob Smedley is going to Williams, possibly old news but we call each other about F1 things

I want a great season, good racing and may the best man/car combination win. Although I like and support Jenson Button, I don't think it will be him that wins though. I want McLaren to do well and Williams, actually I want everyone to be at the top of their game so we can see some real racing. I actually enjoyed last season as a TV viewer a lot more because we were shown heaps of action and not much of the guy in front. The battles for podium and midfield were awesome at some races.
