What's the reasoning behind it?

Maybe you think it means they can go MUCH faster than they did in Jerez....but what if it meant they weren't able to run at closer to full capacity. Or they find out later that at full capacity they can't sustain temperatures for more than 5 laps. Or maybe that is indeed the limit of the engine which their chassis is able to run.

I find it hard to conclude it's 'very good news', when it could just as easily be very bad news.

Irrespective of whether they could go faster our not, their lap times would indicate they had lots of df to give away that much top speed and still lap consistently well. And as I have said, they ran with basic front wing, no monkey seat etc. They have a lot more df to add to the F14-T. Engine power is not going to be an issue.

Ferrari have given a neat send off to the 056 engine - the 2.4L V8 used from '06-'13. 39 wins at ~28% not too shabby and plenty of thrills along the way.

One win was courtesy of a Ferrari engine "customer" - any takers on the driver?

Today’s is a special edition of this column, because, born on 18th February, 116 years ago was the man who, thanks to his determination, his genius and his ability to always look ahead, established the legend which continues to grow today: Enzo Ferrari.

In fact, today the Museo Casa Natale Enzo Ferrari, the museum in the home where he was born, has been reopened, as explained to http://www.ferrari.com, by the son of the Founder and Vice President of the company, Piero Ferrari. “I am particularly pleased that his birthday coincides with the reopening of the Museum, on the spot where my father was born and which is now run by the company he created.”
