No never had the opportunity, would have been considered "bad form" to interupt, the race team would have given me the hard word. Funny, no one would have cared if it had been Berger. Have had a number of "chats" with Ron though. He's a SCARY man I can tall you. That was the only time I saw Senna at the factory and it's a cherished memory.

Nothing glamerous thats for sure.
Cant say too much given the Stepney thing (not really).
Just a drone for Uncle Ron and some of his Techy pals.
Sorry that should read "Teckie".....but on reflection...

Heck man I would consider just sweeping the floor's for a F1 team glamorous! :D

i don't show emotion when watching a race. Emotion = weakness

Seriously the only emotion i get is happiness when someone i like wins a grand prix. So far it has been a very depressing season :(

I've got pretty emotional a lot of the times in watching Formula One. I suppose, firstly, that the spy scandal has already exacerbated a rift that existed between McLaren and Ferrari, and some of the events on this forum reflected that, certainly my own uncharacteristic outburst towards DD at one stage. In watching the television, I can sometimes get a bit worked up, frequently tutting, gesturing, and occasionally cursing; I've had cause for all of those, with McLaren's poor reliability (until just before 2007), some pretty big anti-climaxes (since 2000 really), and seeing Ferrari get away with blue murder at times and teams like McLaren (in particular) and Renault (in 2006) being shafted by the authorities sworn to protect the sport. Ayrton Senna is somebody that brings out a lot of emotions in me. When I watch some his finest races back again, I'm always awe-struck. When I see or read some of great remarks, you can feel inspired, and you realise as well what Formula One, sport, and the world in general has lost. Then, when you sometimes see footage of Imola 1994, I can't help but feel my eyes fill with tears, so I just try to avoid reading too much about the prelude to that year, such as his remarks about a serious accident being on the cards.

Mostly when things arent fair. I can cope with my team or driver not winning in a fair fight.
1) Absolute fury!!!- When Schumacher deliberately turned in on Damon and was allowed to win

2) Similar emotion to above- Max being allowed to stage a personal vendetta against Ron Dennis and use F1 to wreak his revenge

3)A memory that was sweet!!!-When Damon won his title and it was that two part race at Suzuka. Times were aggrogated and he drove out of his skin!! :D (Have I remembered the place correctly?)

Hill won his title at Suzuka in 1996, but his brilliant race in the wet at that track was back in 1994. ;)

I also cried when Senna died.

I remember being massively happy when Frentzen scored Jordan's second ever win in 1999. And when Rubens got his first win, too. He'd had that coming for a long time. I've also had my angry moments, such as when Schumacher forced Frentzen off the track at Montreal in '98, Alonso being penalised at Monza in 2006 and when Bernie said that older drivers, Fisichella in particular, should leave the sport. The spying scandal made me furious, too, but seeing as enough discussion goes on about that around here as it is, I'll leave it alone.

Edit: Oh, and all the years of team orders denying victories. :x

I'm sad to say that I never got to see many of the greats race. People like Prost, Senna, Piquet, Mansell. I need to get hold of some pre-1998 seasons. I really want to see 1996 and 1997, where Hill and then Villeneuve took titles. I never saw Villeneuve in his winning days. :(

After years and years of Shummacher's dominance, in came Alonso and took the WDC away from MS, not once but twice, just in case it was a fluke the first time.

I like to watch the strategies that the teams play during the pit stops and this year we might see more fighting at the top with three very strong teams, Ferrari, BMW and Mclaren.

But the best moments are when a driver, who thinks is smarter and faster than anyone else and behaves with bad sportsmanship, gets beaten fair and square.
