Well I cant really yell or anything because most the live races come on at 4 oclock in the morning because of where I live (and its not that fun watching recorded races, when you already know the results), but I sure do smack my head with my hand a lot. Oh the thing that pissed me off this year was when Bourdais' engine blew in Australia with 3 laps to go.

I went nuts when ITV decided to go to adverts 3 or 4 laps from the end of the race when Schumacher was chasing down Alonso in Imola, I'm not a fan of either of them though.

Oh, and when Hakkinens engine blew while leading on the last lap in Spain in his final year. Loved his move on Schmacher in Spa though, not sure if that was the same year.

Well my most emotional moment doesn't involve my support of any particular team, but I think it still counts.

I was at Oulton Park on the same day as the 2000 Italian Grand Prix, and in between races I had a friendly chat with a couple of marshals by the side of the track. When I got home I saw the recording of the race I'd made earlier, and if you recall there was a huge accident on lap one where a marshal was hit by a flying wheel. The TV broadcasters rather unfortunately showed a shot of the marshal having his chest pumped to keep his heart pumping. I went into the back garden and threw up.

The marshal later died, and I still get incensed when people ignorantly say that Ayrton Senna was the last person to die in F1. Another marshal was killed by a flying wheel in Australia the following year so as far as I am aware at least two people have died in F1 since Senna.

On a slightly happier note probably my most emotional moment in purely sporting terms was cheering Damon Hill on as he temporarily led what we then knew would be his last British Grand Prix. I was there and the cheers sweeping round the circuit is something I won't forget!

mine was when renault won the first wcc/wdc

i think i might have cried just a little bit!

i also get a bit moody on sunday if they dont do well, but im getting used to it now

I'll readily admit, I've cried soundlessly when something bad has happened to JB when things were looking good.

I also cursed rpeeatedly at the top of my voice about the Hamilton favouritism that was endemic in the sport last year.

I was fuming after the Suzuka 06 race, stomped outside in my backyard, walked up on one of the grazing deer (they had lost their fear over the years) and slapped one of them in the face - now I don't see any deer in my backyard anymore on Sundays

from recent memory aside from the emotion of cheering and the drinking and what not at the Aus GP this year when McLaren won
i had some jumping joy enjoyment from seeing Kimi overtake Fisi in Japan 05, and Fernando overtake Felipe in Germany 07

but i get more enjoyment from seeing the drivers drive than just mere results, ofcourse id be happy when my team wins but i get excited by sexy on track moves

Yep, thats the one. I remember just this numb feeling watching the car sitting motionless. It was surreal as everyone had seen F1 cars stopped at the side of the track but I just knew he was not getting out. Awful day. I remember him sitting at a table next to me in the McLaren canteen one day, he used to do that when he visited the factory, have breakfast with his race team in the canteen. He was laughing and so animated. That was the image that kept coming to me as I watched that stationary Williams.
What a loss.

Dang atleast you had the honor of being in his presence, I am very envious!
Did you talk with him directly? That would be a memory I would relay to my grandchildren as they watched F1 with me.

I have not watched that race since as the feeling's come flooding back as it is happening all over again and I cannot put myself through that trauma again. I hope to visit his grave site one day and I will talk to him as if he is sitting next to me and we can talk about the good old day's.
