Thread for the couples/married/etc to share their wonderful 'doings' (I mean dinner, flowers, the pre match basically) on this rosy day. :hehe:

It's half past ten here at night and I'm sitting at home. To be honest, I've found this day to be genuinely terrifying if you're a single. If you're a couple, ah there's only 1 script till the end game. :groucho:

However for my perspective as a single, women just behave differently this day... more outspoken and willing to start small talk but BEWARE, these are the desperate psychos who believe meeting a new person on this day leads to getting a ring on it like 2 months down the road. I experienced this twice and never again.

To the couples out there, have a good one! :drink:

Oh but pls share. Ideas for the future are welcome. :D

I bought a card from the co-op on my lunch break. I might sling a pre-cooked meal in the oven. If she is lucky. We will both be in bed (asleep) by 9:30pm!

Its sometimes a good idea to lose the GF just before Valentines day in a leap year, then get her back afterwards. For one you save a fortune, and secondly in leap year they have this trump card they can pull that apparently says its ok to propose to the guy, so unless shes a keeper you need to be thinking strategically at times like this :hehe:

I left my valentines gift hidden in the car so she wouldn't find it, and yesterday we got 16 inches of snow that I've got to now shovel through to get her gift.

That's love.

The irony would of been if you had bought her a snow shovel

Swmbo has had her gift. I unchained her from the cooker for an extra 10 minutes this morning.

I bought her a card and some whipped cream this year

I did chocolate sauce once...but I'm a sucker for chocolate. Whipped cream I never liked but they're good for hiding things eh.
